Privacy Policy
Your data is yours. We collect what we need to run the service, protect it sensibly, and don't sell it to anyone. That's the short version — the longer one is below, and we've tried to make it readable.

1. Who We Are
Fidus Synergies LLP operates FIDUS FLO — an AI-enabled marketing and sales platform for growing businesses. When this policy says "we," "us," or "FLO," that's who we mean. When it says "you," that's your business and its users.

2. What We Collect
We collect the minimum needed to run a useful service:
- Account information — name, email, phone number, company name
- Usage data — how you use FLO features, logs used for troubleshooting and improving the platform
- Payment references — transaction IDs and payment status (actual card/bank details are handled entirely by our payment partners — we never see or store them)
- Communications — support requests, demo bookings, and messages you send to us
- Technical data — browser type, device, IP address, session data for security and performance
We do not collect data we don't need. We are not in the business of building profiles to sell.
3. Your Customer Data
When you use FLO to manage your leads, contacts, and customer conversations — that data belongs to you. We process it only to deliver the service. We do not use your customer data for advertising, analysis, or any purpose unrelated to running your account.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provision, operate, and improve the FLO platform
- To communicate with you about your account, support, and updates
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
- To send product updates or offers — you can opt out at any time
5. Who We Share Data With
We share data only with third-party providers who help us deliver the service — hosting, email delivery, WhatsApp (Meta WABA), SMS gateways, payment processors, and analytics. These providers are bound by appropriate data processing agreements.
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
If you use AI features with your own API key (BYOK), your AI usage data goes directly to your chosen AI provider (e.g. OpenAI) under their privacy policy. We do not intercept or store it.
6. WhatsApp & Messaging Data
FLO uses WhatsApp Business API (WABA) via Meta. Messages sent through FLO are subject to Meta's privacy policy and messaging terms in addition to ours. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your contacts before messaging them through the platform.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If something goes wrong, we'll tell you promptly.
8. Cookies
We use cookies for session management, security, and basic analytics (understanding which pages are useful). We don't use cookies to track you across the internet or build advertising profiles. You can manage cookies through your browser settings — though disabling them may affect platform functionality.
9. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal and compliance purposes. You can request deletion — see Section 10.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Raise concerns with a relevant data protection authority

11. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email or an in-app notice before they take effect. Minor clarifications may be updated without specific notice — the "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
